When do I instruct a valuation?

Ordinarily, a valuation would be instructed after the borrower has discussed the details of their project with Sourced Capital. If this is a deal that everyone is looking to progress on terms that are deemed mutually acceptable, Sourced Capital would provide the borrower with some indicative terms known as a decision in principle or an agreement in principle. One of the conditions of approval will always be a satisfactory valuation regarding the loan security. At that point, the borrower would look to instruct a valuation.
